Spray Equipment & Service Center is looking for a dependable Service Technician for our Wichita branch. The purpose of this position is to ensure exceptional customer service of their powder coating systems through troubleshooting, training and ongoing support.

JOB DUTIES
- Equipment assembly, repair, service, and diagnosis on new and used equipment.
- Make recommendations when necessary; new replacement parts, upgrades and/or equipment replacement upgrades.
- Create and submit repair estimate quotes and service tickets and help ensure all necessary parts and equipment are ordered for each job.
- Light welding, fabricating, and machining abilities are preferred.
- Engagement in ALL supplier and company related service and equipment operation focused training programs. This may require on-site training, off-site training and/or web-based training.
- Travel 15-20%. When needed travel will be required which could include air travel and overnight stays. Job-related expenses are reported and reimbursed.
- Heavy lifting (75lbs+) will be required at times.
- Working from ladders and elevations will be required at times.
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and timely with customers
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Moderate/advanced understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is preferred.
- General comprehensive understanding of hand and power tools is required.
- Basic computer skills, i.e., email, word, excel, internet and online Zoom meetings will be required.
- High School diploma or equivalent, Vocational degree or On-Job experience will be considered.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
This is a 40 hr./week job with occasional overtime. Required tools for the job will be provided and equipment. Specific training will be provided as well and continuing education. This includes offsite training involving travel.
