The Lead Service Technician position is responsible for installing, servicing, and assembling industrial paint, sealant, and lubrication equipment along with supervising and mentoring a team of service technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and approve timecards, time off requests, and accurate service activities.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and safety requirements.
  • Experience with the safe utilization of wrenches, hand drills, drill press, bandsaw, cutting torch, and other hand tools and machinery.
  • Knowledge on how to accurately read a tape measure; how to read and understand technical drawings; experience with bending and installing hydraulic steel tubing.
  • Must be available for overnight travel on a limited basis in- state and out-of-state. All expenses related to company travel will be paid by the company.
  • Must possess good work ethic with good problem-solving skills
  • Adhere to all safety procedures in the customer's facility.
  • This individual is expected to attend all required factory training sessions at manufacturer’s facilities along with in-house training opportunities.
  • Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions, (overtime and weekends when required)
  • Must be physically capable to safely maneuver and work on large machinery and equipment.
  • Other duties that are crucial to the success of the company

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Past management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical/spray equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional, polite and courteous manner.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
